The Beauty of Fogo contest

To realize how beautiful the Fogo Loch sim is another Photo Contest was held and sponsored by our Viceroy Loggos. The participants came with their works showing why they love the Fogo sim so much. Let's see their works

First - three entries by Gaqraa, our babyRoyal or the newly born Knight of Fogo Loch. And let's be honest, he doesn't only have an eye for beauty, but also the perfect artistic skills.

The next participant is Jonathan Smithy who provided four pictures for this contest. And I understand him. The Fogo is such a beautiful place with so many hidden charming places. With his collection Jonathan succeeded to make a very clear statement - the Beauty can be hidden everywhere including the well known places (and thus overlooked).

Now let me introduce two pieces by Thorten. He was clearly charmed by our underwater world and this serene place in particular. The calming depths of the lake and the mysterious serenity are perfectly captured by Thorten on his images. They are unnamed and I agree - sometimes there no words can be found to describe what you feel.

And at last. but not least let me introduce a nice work by Trebor Rufus.  Well, this guy took the bull by its horns by showing us the core of Fogo Loch, its beautiful castle. A mighty image!

Well, I guess our Loggos had some tough times while trying to choose the winner of this contest. It wasn't easy to decide as each of these images has its own magic. But he finally came with the list of winners.

1st place is given to Gaqraa for two of his images - Unicorn and Cemetery. A wise decision I'd say - never choose between the Innocence of Light and the Temptation of the Darkness. Worship them both, each on its time. 

2nd place is given to Jonathan Smithy for The Underwater Angel. Great work! 

And the 3rd place is given to Trebor Rufus for his Castle. A very nice image!

The Star of Fogo

It's funny, sometimes the beautiful things of Life are so closer to us than we think. You just need to look to find them. Like this ornament that is just above the landing point of Fogo Loch. Have you ever noticed it? How often do you look up to discover the beauty of the stars?

Valentine Party at Fogo Loch

Last Sunday the throne room of the Fogo Loch Castle was turned into the Temple of Love by the efforts of Tamino and Diara. All shades of the color red were present as well as the obligatory attributes of the Valentine's day. Candles, hearts, bubbles, bonbons and, of course, a lot of warmth and passion.

The evil forces tried to disturb the feast of Love and Passion by interfering with the music stream. The party tended to turn into a "Sing with your Real Voice" contest or "Bring your own music" event, but our Viceroy loggos has fixed the problem. So, here I am proudly presenting you a couple of Party Impressions.

The bubbles and love were sputtered in the air and the chemistry between the dancing partners were almost visible as neon colored flashes. And who is that guy our Viceroy loggos is dancing with? The Prince of Soul Thorten? Well, he has stolen loggos's heart for almost a year already. Let's wish a lot of "happily ever after"to the lucky couple.

When Love enters the game, it always brings some magic with it. The magic of Love can be everywhere. You can discover it as a dark mysterious passion of dance. Or it can hide itself as a white rabbit inside someone's hat.

And wait, tell me who is that handsome guy in the corner? I haven't met him at Fogo before? A new Fogo Loch friend, you are very welcome here. Even if your heart already seem to be taken. Another happy couple. Good luck, guys!

Turning of Alle

Alle has got his turning on Fogo Loch and is our baby vampire now. Congratulations to Alle and Epic! Here you can find some selected pictures from the turning and the copy of speeches during the ceremony.

Perseus about Alle: Allemanikes Abeyante is 4 years and 8 months. He joined Bloodlines and Fogo on 6th September 2013. He lieged to Count Epicurious Klees. He really is an unique guy, and a challenge to everyone who really wants to know him better. He is quite a surprise. No one would think that he would become one of the most present members at Fogo. He even lives at Fogo Village now. Alle is a really sensitive guy, who loves his friends and who needs to be with people. He believes everyone is connected, no matter how far we are, physically meaning. I am sure that, as long as he is aware of his limits, he will be a great and powerful vampire. I still remember the valuable ideas he suggested to us, while creating Fogo village!

Epic about Alle: I am pround to say that Allemanikes Abeyante has done me the honor of lieging to me. He is extroverted, optimistic, versatile, and spontaneous. Playful, high-spirited, he constantly seek new and exciting experiences. He is are enthusiastic about almost everything. He approach life with curiosity, optimism, and a sense of adventure, like “kids in a candy store” who look at the world in wide-eyed, rapt anticipation of all the good things they are about to experience. He is bold and vivacious, pursuing what he want in life with a cheerful determination. He has a quality best described by the Yiddish word “chutzpah”—a kind of brash “nerviness.”I can say that I learned a lot also guiding him in the paths of his second life starting now.

Cleopatra's Bodoir

Well guys, there is still one house more to visit. The house #4 where Alle invites us to taste all the luxury the world can give. A perfect decadence where the wine of your choice is served 24/7 accompanied by the finest delicacies. Four chandeliers of this room can turn the darkest night into the brightest day. And can you resist the seductiveness of the color Red? You haven't expect that all in a small village house, right?

Looking at the picture above you probably would like to tell me, that this room has already been shown on Chris Chronicles. That's true guys, it was already mentioned here. But only as a part of a bigger entry about the village and with one picture only. So, I thought it would be unfair to Alle not to give him the same attention as every contest participant got. Well, you may be also asking why Cleopatra's Bodoir? Well, just visit Alle and play with the poses. You'll get your answer.

The naughty side of Jonathan Smithy

We still have some more houses to visit. So, today we are going to invite ourselves to the house #2 decorated by Jonathan Smithy. And here we see another very good example that perfectly fits the village spirit. What is more welcoming and appealing when you are get a bottle of a nice dark ale? I guess I could spend hours behind that table drinking ale, having some funny talk with friends and observing the village life through the window. 

And well, let me be very honest to tell you that the nice and relaxed home like feeling is not the only thing that attracts my attention here. I am also very interested in a darker side of Jonathan. I don't know whether he is a vampire, a lycan, a hybrid or a human, but there is definitely a darker side inside him. Look at this corner! I think it's more lycan related. Cause why otherwise he placed the picture of that Big Moon above his bed? Or the Moonshine drops around that guy's mouth on the wall?

And as the title of this entry suggests, Jonathan also does have a naughty side. I am not sure what it is yet, but look at the expression of that pumpkin face. He is definitely up to something... Don't let this charming smile to fool you...

The Lonely Vampire's Nest

First a good news, guys. I am glad to inform you, that everyone has survived the Haunted Hotel. Although there is no check-out policy, but we could seal the deal with the Hotel management. A big bottle of Aged Moonshine, a couple liters of blood and a sacrificed virgin helped a lot to come to the agreement.

Another good news is that I am recovered from the Haunted Shock and can continue showing you the Village Decorations. But first - please, remember to sign in for the Scavenger Hunt by October 16th. The Hunt will take place on Saturday, October 19th and there are still volunteers needed.

So, today we shall visit the House #5. Once I entered I got the strong feeling of a Lonely Vampire's Nest. You know, vampires are always traveling in style. It doesn't matter if they stay in a small village house or a big castle - they always create that simplicity of class and comfort. Looking at those pictures it's easy to realize who is the owner of the place. But that simple comfort is so appealing and inviting that you can't resist just to take a sit on that sofa and have some rest before running away. Who knows, probably it's just exactly what is expected of you.

If you never met him, you might being asking yourself who Sky is and how he looks like. Well, you've already seen him in the previous entry about the Haunted Hotel. It's the laughing guy with the axe in his head. And you can see another picture of him at the end here.

The scariest night on Fogo Loch

Tonight was the scariest night on Fogo Loch  as Rhys Calhouon has taken us to the Unguided Tour through the Haunted Hotel. Some guys were scared to death before the tour started and left. Some needed to change their underwear several times during the tour. I am not sure how many of us are still alive. I am writing this entry now hiding in the closet of the hotel, but not sure how long it will take before they find me...

So, you understand - it was a great success. And for those who couldn't be there, just ask that creepy wolf on LP for the Landmark and make your own experience.  But I'd say it's much more fun to do it in a group. So, take someone with you. You can also ask for the LM from anyone who was there tonight. And here there are some impressions of the Haunted night. Spoil alert! Don't look further if you prefer not to know what awaits you at the Hotel.

The consolation

Well, it was a bit tough to choose a subject for today to write about.Cause too many things were happening at the same time. But I guess, first things first. I've already introduced you the winners of the Fogo Loch House Decoration Contest: Page and Snow Well I think it would be completely unfair if I don't mention the other participants. All guys have performed a great work and have shown a lot of creativity. So, I just keep showing you the results. And they are the winners as well - hey were officially granted the Consolation prize (or as our King says, the Surprise Prize).

Meet the House number 3 decorated by David. I don't know this guy well, so can't tell you anything about him, so let's just look at his style. Probably something more for a castle room than for a village house, but it's definitely appealing.  Probably we see a good potential here for him to become a Royal. And definitely an eye for detail and a good taste.

I guess I have to ask David where he has bought that bed and that chair. The chair would definitely fit the spot near the Fireplace. Perfect to sit on watching the flames and smoking a pipe.

Last Fogo News, October 10th

There are some recent changes on Fogo and you can feel it in the air. I noticed it at the same time I came there on the LP. The air was filled with a strange haunting sound. It was playing on my nerves and felt as if it could suck the last hope right from my heart. And if it wasn't enough on its own, I could hear the creepy growling sound from time to time. All together it turned the usual cosy LP of Fogo Loch into a real horror place. I've searched for the source of the sound and finally found it. And here it is - the Wolf from Hell who was placed on the sim by Rhys Calhouon as a teaser for the upcoming Tour through the Haunted House. The event is planned on Saturday, the 12th, Noon SLT. I hope you guys have read the Notecard by our Duke Fire. No special preparation is needed. Just take your usual Valium. Or make a joint to calm your nerves.

And I hope you've also read the note by our other Duke Servius about the upcoming events for the weekend after. On October 19 (yes, it's Saturday again, but the different one) the scavenger hunt will be organized on Fogo Loch with riddles and nice (and hopefully funny) time together with the family. There are also some Linden rewards for the best explorers. And to all Royals - I hope you can volunteer for a team leader position and give a notice to Servius by October 16 th.

Well, and our Prince was very productive (or hungry) yesterday. I will not describe the bloody mess he might left after his usual vampire feeding, but I will certainly mention the two new family members he brought to Fogo Loch yesterday. The first one is Wilson from USA. I haven't met him yet. And the second one is Bret from Florida USA. I was there when Bret was turned into a bloodtoy, but pity enough I forgot to spy and make a picture of that transformation moment. Anyway - here is the very first picture of him on Fogo Loch. He was just one day old yesterday, so I guess he needs a lot to learn and can use some friendly advice.

Formal Dance Party

As I told you yesterday, guys, we had a nice Formal Dance Party on Fogo Loch on Monday. I didn't tell you much about it as I wanted all your attention to go to our House Decoration Contest winners. But I know that you are craving to see some hot studs in their formal dresses. And that's completely understandable - guys in tuxedos are really hot. So, today I present you a lot of pictures from the party.

The party was decorated by Randy Firebrand (Fire). And he did a very good job. Champagne and light refreshments were served by the grumpy Butler and the obliged maiden while the guardians were watching the doors. Our King Perseus has even offered his own heart for the couple dances. I guess he didn't use it since the spring, so it was still full of courtship dances and mating behavior that brought a lot of fun to the party.
