It's vacation time!
So, guys. what are you doing when SL doesn't seem to be what it was anymore? When the dramameter indicator turns read and warns you not to be involved too much. Well, there is no such thing as SL prozac, but... I found a nice solution! An SL vacation! So for the next two weeks I've rented a nice house (skybox) on a Havendale Village. Already decorated it and ready to enjoy the silence and the quietness of the skybox combined with the beauty of the sim. And probably it is the perfect time to ask the SL Destination Guide for some sight seeing advice. Yoohooo! My first vakaction in Second Life! And friends are welcome for a drink of course!

The Beauty of Fogo contest
To realize how beautiful the Fogo Loch sim is another Photo Contest was held and sponsored by our Viceroy Loggos. The participants came with their works showing why they love the Fogo sim so much. Let's see their works
First - three entries by Gaqraa, our babyRoyal or the newly born Knight of Fogo Loch. And let's be honest, he doesn't only have an eye for beauty, but also the perfect artistic skills.
Fogo Castle
Cemetery

Unicorn
The next participant is Jonathan Smithy who provided four pictures for this contest. And I understand him. The Fogo is such a beautiful place with so many hidden charming places. With his collection Jonathan succeeded to make a very clear statement - the Beauty can be hidden everywhere including the well known places (and thus overlooked).
Fogo Sphere at Turning Temple
Fogo Sunbeams
Fogo Underwater Angel
Fogo Waterfall
Now let me introduce two pieces by Thorten. He was clearly charmed by our underwater world and this serene place in particular. The calming depths of the lake and the mysterious serenity are perfectly captured by Thorten on his images. They are unnamed and I agree - sometimes there no words can be found to describe what you feel.
And at last. but not least let me introduce a nice work by Trebor Rufus. Well, this guy took the bull by its horns by showing us the core of Fogo Loch, its beautiful castle. A mighty image!
Well, I guess our Loggos had some tough times while trying to choose the winner of this contest. It wasn't easy to decide as each of these images has its own magic. But he finally came with the list of winners.
1st place is given to Gaqraa for two of his images - Unicorn and Cemetery. A wise decision I'd say - never choose between the Innocence of Light and the Temptation of the Darkness. Worship them both, each on its time.
2nd place is given to Jonathan Smithy for The Underwater Angel. Great work!
And the 3rd place is given to Trebor Rufus for his Castle. A very nice image!
Congratulations, Gaqraa, Jonathan and Trebor!
And thank you our Viceroy for the contest.

The Star of Fogo
It's funny, sometimes the beautiful things of Life are so closer to us than we think. You just need to look to find them. Like this ornament that is just above the landing point of Fogo Loch. Have you ever noticed it? How often do you look up to discover the beauty of the stars?

Big Boy's Dreams: Straight to Heaven
Today I was wandering through the Dutch village I found recently enjoying the familiar landscapes. Nicely made sim with a lot of little details that every Dutch would recognize. How about a box of fries left on the table near the port. Or the VVV which stands for "Tourist information". A central point to start a tour of the yet unknown Dutch village. And look what I found on my way to VVV...
That's "the real rocket" from my childhood! You know for a guy, it doesn't matter how old are you. The dreams of your inner kid never die. And what boy didn't have a dream to concur the skies moving straight forward through the clouds to unknown highs? Those times when a kid was lying on the lawn staring at the stars while his mind was creating the various scenarios of its own Space Odyssey.
Fortunately I always take my pilot outfit with me, so it was just a matter of minutes to get ready for this farewell picture before starting my sky adventure. Good Bye the Earth, the Skies are waiting.
The rocket is made by Culprit Mesh Furniture. And there is more great stuff to find there. A lot of those old good carnival attractions and other great furniture. Just one more example below to finish my personal Big Boy's Space Odyssey.

Enjoy leaving your dreams, guys!

And OMG, I had a lot of fun with that rocket. To suit all the variations of Big Boy's Dreams it has three stands: GrownUp (hehe, you bet), Shooter and Silly. Of course I did try all of them!

Big American Dream III: Becoming an artist at GayStar
Well, guys, the GaySTAR sim is finished and getting popular. And so I thought it might be a good idea to settle down here for awhile and to start to work on my Big Dream. To become an artist. So, I've withdrawn my savings I made working at the Porn Theater and made an easy to follow plan:
1. Rent a place for a studio.
2. Buy the cool artist's gadgets.
3. Place those cool gadgets around inside the studio in a kind of "creative chaos" style and call yourself an artist from now on.
It's an easy one, you see. So, let's start with step 1 which is leading me to the GaySTAR rentals. And I found that this place is already quite popular. Only three apartments were free. Well, I guess the timing is right. A week longer and I'd probably have to join the waiting list while keep sleeping on the bench near the Art Gallery. So, it's no time to sit and think, it's time for action!

So, it's no time to sit and think, it's time for action!
Actually there is also a free house available, but this is beyond my budget right now. Especially because of all those cool artist's gadgets on my shopping list. So, which one of those three apartments would it be? Tough call... Would it be building C or A? Would I move next to Epic, a good friend of mine? Or a nice guy Denny I've met recently? Well, Epic and I are already neighbors at Fogo Loch. So, let it be A. And than... Would it be the first floor, so I could watch everything what is going on on the sim? Or shall I move higher and feel myself the King of the World when looking at the world under my feet? Ah, it's a dream and the dreamers should walk with their heads in the clouds. The choice is obvious. And here I am at my new apartment A5.
Let's make this place alive and turn the flat into a cool Studio! An empty canvas is a must. Virgin white and ready to be covered with the patterns of my life. And the Light of course, the Holy Grail of a visual artist. So, let the Light be there! Hmmmm... interesting, this canvas comes with the poses... No, not those poseballs you are thinking of now ;)
Oh, look, I've just started to decorate, but that mess on the table I made is already looking like a "creative chaos"! Great! Oh, by the way. the table and the chair do have those poseballs! So, just come along and help me to test and adjust them :). As you know, the lust and the passion are the driving engines behind the creative process, right? I found one of mine here called Photography.
But I don't want to restrict myself to photography only. So I decided to buy an easel and some oil colors, so I can feed my soul by expressing of its hidden calls onto the paper. And of course because it looks quite cool to have one ;) Gives also an impression of me being a multifaceted person. That's cool!
Well, I guess that's it fir now. The beginning of my new life to follow my Big Dream. It was nice to be able to share this exciting moment with you, guys! So, let me offer you a small gift. I'd like to give you one of my work I made here on GaySTAR sim. The one called Rain. It hangs above the table here in my flat and you can buy it for L$0 if you wish. So, please, be my guest if you'd like to visit me or walk around the sim or may be even move in so we can become the neighbors! See you around!

Valentine Party at Fogo Loch
Last Sunday the throne room of the Fogo Loch Castle was turned into the Temple of Love by the efforts of Tamino and Diara. All shades of the color red were present as well as the obligatory attributes of the Valentine's day. Candles, hearts, bubbles, bonbons and, of course, a lot of warmth and passion.
The evil forces tried to disturb the feast of Love and Passion by interfering with the music stream. The party tended to turn into a "Sing with your Real Voice" contest or "Bring your own music" event, but our Viceroy loggos has fixed the problem. So, here I am proudly presenting you a couple of Party Impressions.

The bubbles and love were sputtered in the air and the chemistry between the dancing partners were almost visible as neon colored flashes. And who is that guy our Viceroy loggos is dancing with? The Prince of Soul Thorten? Well, he has stolen loggos's heart for almost a year already. Let's wish a lot of "happily ever after"to the lucky couple.
When Love enters the game, it always brings some magic with it. The magic of Love can be everywhere. You can discover it as a dark mysterious passion of dance. Or it can hide itself as a white rabbit inside someone's hat.
And wait, tell me who is that handsome guy in the corner? I haven't met him at Fogo before? A new Fogo Loch friend, you are very welcome here. Even if your heart already seem to be taken. Another happy couple. Good luck, guys!
